Cerfificates returned from the API
Important
The service returns the certificate stored for each communication party. However, the certificates returned by the API are not validated by the service.
This means that a certificate:
- May have expired
- May have been revoked
- May otherwise be invalid
Consumers of the API are responsible for validating certificates before trusting or using them. This includes checking:
- Expiration date
- Revocation status
- Certificate chain validity
