Team Platform

Team Platform's mission is to contribute to increased innovation and business development by making it easier for suppliers to offer functionality in their solutions that are based on the use of APIs for national e-health solutions and foundation services.
Team Platform consists of a multidisciplinary core team that works closely with other teams and expert resources internally in NHN. The team works iteratively according to service design methods with the following phases:
Diagnosis
Explore/Define
Develop/Deliver.
The platform is an important part of the desire to establish services for common API management for national e-health solutions and foundation services, and will contribute to the greatest possible extent to the adoption of the solutions by the sector, as well as making it easier for actors in the sector to:
Get an overview of which APIs are available
Easily familiarize themselves with and assess what is required to use available APIs (both contractually, administratively, semantically and technically)
Implement solutions that use one or more of the available APIs
Accessibility, ecosystem & innovation
The interaction between the public and private sectors and a functioning ecosystem are crucial for innovation. Public actors such as NHN must also see “externals” as important data suppliers.
Norway has the world's best health data and we must use it.
The public sector must be outward-looking - one cannot expect relevant users to see the potential or find the data without active dissemination from the administration - this is the core of Plattform's work.
